Lebanon's FM pledges reform and state monopoly on arms at UN Human Rights Council

Lebanese Foreign Minister Youssef Rajji said the government is pursuing a reform-driven approach centered on strengthening the rule of law, liberating occupied land, and ensuring that weapons are held exclusively by legitimate state authorities.

In remarks delivered at the 61st session of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva, Rajji outlined what he described as the government's commitment to reinforcing state institutions and consolidating sovereignty. He published his address on his X account.
