Clashes in Ain el-Hilweh camp leave one dead, 7 injured

A cautious calm prevailed on Sunday in the Ain el-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp after clashes erupted between rival militants, killing one person and leaving 7 injured.

In the details, the gun battle erupted between Fatah and the “Bilal Bader group” after midnight and lasted until dawn on Sunday.

Tensions run high in South Lebanon's Ain el-Helwe Palestinian Refugee Camp that shelters about 50,000 refugees and is known to harbor extremists.
