Freddy Atallah killed in car accident

Freddy Raymond Wehbe Atallah, a 19-year-old from the village of Anfeh, was killed in a car accident along Amchit highway on Thursday.

The accident injured Dr. Marlene Awad, 40, Dr. Elias Rashed, 55, Dr. Youssef Dargham, in his 70s and Oliver Haddad, in his 30s.

The Red Cross rushed them to Saydet Al Maounat hospital in Byblos.

The Audi model car collided with a Mercedes and a small truck owned by the municipality of Amchit. Following the car accident, security forces directed traffic on the eastern lane of the highway.
