Abadi: Threats are a losing bet

Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Ghadanfar Roken Abadi said that 32 years ago Iran stood in the face of U.S. threats to wage a war, create turmoil and execute terrorist acts.

“Despite all of these threats, the Iranian Republic became an auto-sufficient economy”, Abadi added following his meeting with the Head of the Change and Reform bloc MP Michel Aoun.

Abadi stressed that the pressure exerted against Syria will not lead to their desired outcomes, adding that threats are a losing bet.
