Geagea: We refuse to participate in Berri's dialogue

The head of the Lebanese Forces Party Samir Geagea saw that Speaker Nabih Berri’s calls for a national dialogue are completely empty and are no more than apparent calls with no valuable context as he will not reach any solution.

Geagea added that the Lebanese Forces are not ready for such a dialogue as long as the other parties [March 8 parties] have no will to discuss the only pending and critical issue which is the armament of Hezbollah.

Following his meeting with Future Movement member MP Hadi Hobeish, Geagea observed that the judicial body in Lebanon is politicized, wondering “how a political figure could be considered as a candidate for a high judicial position”, calling on all parties to prevent Lebanon from going back to the “Judge Addoum dark era”.

“It is interesting to see the Palestinian armed group known under the name of Al-Saeqa back in action in the camps with full armament activities with the complete absence of the state and the security forces”, Geagea was quoted as saying.
