LF MP Keyrouz calls for a vote on a new electoral law

Lebanese Forces MP Elie Keyrouz held a press conference on Monday in which he tackled the electoral file.

He noted that recovering the rights of Christians should be done through "honest political efforts", adding that the "freedom and dignity" of Lebanon must be preserved.

MP Keyrouz slammed the Free patriotic Movement's approval of dividing Mount Lebanon into three electoral districts, adding that the FPM is attempting to "scatter" the Christian votes.

He also called for holding a parliamentary session to vote on a new electoral law.
