LAF responds to media accusations of meddling in Syria

The Army Command’s Directorate of Orientation issued a response on Saturday to media accusations that LAF trucks were seen entering the Lebanese territory from Syria, lending proof of the LAF’s involvement in the incidents in Syria.

The Command stated that “ LAF military trucks entering Syrian territories is something very normal that happens once in a while to provide the LAF with spare parts for military vehicles and other logistics and munitions in accordance with the cooperation and coordination agreements between the two countries.

The Command statement stressed that coming to the conclusion that the LAF is involved in the Syrian incidents by observing a few vehicles is pure slander against the Lebanese military institution that pledged not to meddle in other countries’ affairs.
