Israeli army objects Wazzani river cleaning

Israeli army submitted on Saturday a complaint to United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon (UNIFIL) over a Lebanese bulldozer cleaning the Wazzani river under the pretext that the Blue Line passes through the mentioned river.

Israel also sent a ten men strong infantry unit to the barbed wire fence, while the UNIFIL sent emergency forces into the region to avert any possible clashes.

It is worth mentioning that the bulldozer belongs to the Wazzani resort project and was cleaning remains of the river's flooding last winter.
