Sayegh to LBCI: Interior Ministry was not ready to hold the elections

Former Minister Salim Sayegh said on Sunday that extending the parliament’s mandate would have been unjustified if Lebanon were passing through a different situation, adding that a certain path of events brought the country to this result.

Sayegh criticized during LBCI’s Nharkom Said the Ministry of Interior, pointing out that the Ministry was not ready to hold the elections on their due date.
