Future bloc says "Hezbollah is serving as brigade in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard"

MP Samir el-Jisr called Tuesday on political and security leaders to put an end for "the crimes taking place in Tripoli," adding that all necessary measures must be taken to restore law and order in the city.

MP el-Jisr’s statement came following the Future Bloc’s weekly meeting, whereby deputies tackled the latest developments in Lebanon and the region.

MP el-Jisr said that the Hezbollah is serving as "a brigade in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard", and urged the former to withdraw from Syria's al-Qusayr in order to spare Lebanon the repercussions of the crisis.

In this regard, the bloc held Hezbollah accountable for any deterioration in the relations between Lebanon and Syria.

On the Lebanese file, the bloc justified the extension of the parliament's mandate by saying that Lebanese leaders failed to reach a common ground over a new electoral draft law, adding that the security situation was another reason behind this extension.
