REPORT: Lebanese Red Cross transports Syrian wounded from Qusayr to Bekaa hospitals
      
The Lebanese Red Cross, escorted by the Lebanese Armed Forces, transported on Saturday more than 39 Syrian wounded from Syria's al-Qusayr to Lebanon. 8 of the wounded were transferred to the Rashaya governmental hospital, 22 to Farhat Hospital in Jeb Jennin, while others were taken to hospitals located in Bekaa.  

Earlier, Operations director for the Lebanese Red Cross George Kettaneh told LBCI that 28 wounded persons were transferred, in cooperation with the Lebanese Armed Forces, from Arsal toward hospitals in Bekaa, mainly to Chtaura hospital and West of Bekaa hospitals.             

Kettaneh also clarified that the Lebanese Red Cross receives the Syrian wounded in clinics located in Arsal and transports them to hospitals, adding that a number of the injured will be also transferred through 'safe passages'.
