MP Hariri says Hezbollah drifting Lebanon towards ominous path

Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri warned on Thursday against the danger that could befall Lebanon as a result of sectarian strife.

He also said that Hezbollah "is drifting Lebanon, once again, toward an ominous path."

He accused Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah of controlling the legislative and executive authorities in Lebanon, as well as the army command.

He also called on the Lebanese people to exert efforts "to carry out parliamentary elections as soon as possible."

In his concluding remarks Hariri urged the Lebanese to put an end to the "Iranian scenario in Lebanon."
