Two tough prisoners cut themselves, ask to be close to family

The two arrested with initials (T.A and F.S) cut themselves with sharp tools at the Batroun Police Station and were transferred to local hospitals in the area amid tight security to prevent any further escalations.

T.A faces a life sentence and is being transferred from Batroun Police Station to Roumieh prison while demanding to be transferred to Baalbek Prison, where his family is.

F.S is considered one of the most dangerous prisoners and is being transferred from Roumieh for starting several riots.

The two arrested will now face tougher sentences at the request of the general prosecutor for disrupting the prison’s internal security and inciting strife between prisoners.
