Sleiman opposes isolation of any Arab country
President Michel Sleiman said that Lebanon opposed the isolation of any Arab country because it will rupture all lines of communication and pave the way for foreign interference.

Before the opening ceremony of Car Free Day in Tripoli, a green initiative launched by Tripoli youth network, Sleiman said: “Syria should be able to retain its membership, in exchange for the implementation of rigorous decisions.”

Sleiman called on Syria to implement the Arab initiative as soon as possible and move forward with reforms.

Sleiman kicked off his visit to Tripoli by heading to the Justice Palace and then to Tipoli harbor accompanied by: Public Works Minister Ghazi Aridi, Interior Minister Marwan Charbel, Finance Minister Mohammad Safadi, Environmnet Minister Nazem al-Khoury, Education Minister Hassan Diab, Justice Minister Shakib Qortbawi, State Minister Ahmad Karami, Economy Minister Nicolas Nahhas and MP Samir el Jisr.
