Pregnant Woman Hit By Truck Wakes Up From Coma To Give Birth
A Florida man is celebrating after his pregnant wife woke up from her coma only to give birth to their baby girl.  

Jenny, Angel Quiles' wife, was struck by a tow truck on the 15th of October as she crossed the street to attend a doctor's appointment.  

"From day one, none of this was expected," Quiles said, adding "I thought I was going to lose my wife and my baby. And here we are celebrating the fact that the baby is born and Jenny is doing a lot better today".  

Seven months pregnant at the time, Jenny managed to shield her stomach from the impact but suffered a traumatic brain injury.    

The would-be mom was put in a medically-induced coma and doctors were making plans to perform a C-section delivery in a couple of weeks. Those plans were called off when Jenny woke up after 19 days.        

Baby Angel Noemi Quiles was born on the 3rd of November weighing 6 pounds. Her mother remains alert.
