REPORT: Storm Zeina sweeps through Byblos port
A number of photos were circulated on Tuesday on social media platforms depicting winter storm Zeina as it swept through the Byblos port.

LiveLoveByblos shared a photo showing the Byblos Sur Mer restaurant engulfed in water.

Other photos were shared by the Traffic Management Center purporting the port of Byblos as "a floating city in the water."

It is worth noting that the Beirut Meteorology Department expects that the storm to last until Sunday, noting that the weather will be cloudy and rainy with snow expected at an altitude of 600 meters.

Roads

The Directorate General of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division issued a report on Tuesday stating that the Mnaytra-Hadath Baalbek road is blocked due to the accumulation of snow while that of Kefraya – Mount Barouk is only passable for equipped vehicles.

The report also staid that the Sannin- Zahle as well as the Aynata-Arz roads are blocked due to heavy snowfall.

As for the Dahr El-Baydar road, it remains open in both directions.
