Lucy Edwards, a 19 year-old from Birmingham, lost her eyesight two years ago due to a rare disorder, but the inspiring teen hasn't let it hold her back.

Determined to go on to study law, she's retaking her A-levels and is also becoming a bit of a beauty sensation on YouTube.

Lucy posts videos about blindness and shares her makeup tips and tricks.

This is her first makeup tutorial, where she takes viewers through her routine and her no-mirror techniques:

Here are the best make-up tips form Lucy’s videos:

- Brow shadows applied with a brush are easier than pencils.

- Use light eye shadows shades, as darker shadows have more visible fall-out under the eyes

- A nude eye pencil on the waterline enhances your eyes. Don't be scared to keep it sharp, if it's blunt it scratches the skin.

- With liquid eyeliner, practice makes perfect. Use one with a super-fine nib (her favorite one is Perfect Slim from L'Oreal Paris).

- Shake your head when applying mascara to coat all the lashes. Don't bother with bottom lashes, which can be a little bit risky.

- Lip glosses are easier than lipsticks, and nude is your friend.
