Recently, not a day goes by without an engagement, marriage or pregnancy being announced on Facebook or other social media platform.
One mum's baby announcement was completely overshadowed when they changed their profile picture to their baby scan - only for a Facebook friend to post a comment making a really awkward mistake.
Commenting on the image the anonymous friend wrote: "That lasagne looks crisp."
The owner of the profile picture replied to say: "That's my daughter".
A screenshot of the exchange was posted on Twitter with the caption: "Facebook is absolutely insane".
The tweet instantly went viral receiving over 50,000 retweets and 90,000 likes.
