[PHOTOS] Jamie Oliver's Land Rover Is Transformed Into A Mobile Kitchen

TV Star Jamie Oliver has moved into the meals on wheels market after his Land Rover Discovery was transformed into a mobile kitchen.

The super-chef's SUV is loaded with unusual features including a toaster in the centre console and a slow cooker in the engine bay.

Other practical functions include a pasta maker, gas hob and a deployable dining table and worktop.

Oliver even had a herb garden and spice rack installed on the luxury 4x4's rear windows.

Three of the wheels double up as butter churners while the fourth wheel is also an ice cream maker.

Oliver, 42, famously owned a classic campervan which he was made a salad in while The Stig thrashed it around the Top Gear test track.

His latest car, which costs from £44,000 before its transformation, was given the extraordinary overhaul at Jaguar Land Rover's £20million state-of-the-art Special Vehicle Operations centre near Coventry, West Midlands.

Oliver said: "I gave Land Rover a massive challenge to create the ultimate kitchen on wheels. I dreamt big and asked for a lot, and what they've done has blown my mind."

"I didn't think they'd actually be able to put a slow-cooker next to the engine and an olive oil dispenser in the boot, but they did.
