An official from the Libyan Embassy in Moscow said that the green flag of Moammar Gadhafi’s regime has been lowered from the embassy, but has not yet been replaced with the flag currently used by the NTC.
“The Embassy had lowered Thursday the green flag of Moammar Gadhafi’s old regime along with the African Union flag”, the official told AFP adding that he cannot say when the Embassy will raise the country’s red, black and green flag adopted after the 1951 independence.
