Smuggling operation into Syria intercepted in Rachaya

The LAF intercepted a pick-up truck attempting to smuggle fireworks, walkie-talkies and stink bombs into Syria through the mountainous border region of Deir El Aachayer in Rachaya.

The LAF arrested the pick-up’s driver and turned over the seized items to the proper authorities. Investigations are ongoing.
