Reports emerged Saturday stating that Israeli warplanes launched two airstrikes targeting a Hezbollah convoy on the Qalamoun region. However, the Israeli authorities refused to comment on the news.
In this regard, eye witnesses in Yabroud note that the Israeli airstrike targeted bases of the Syrian army brigades 155 and 65, where Hezbollah stores heavy artillery.
Meanwhile, conflicting reports emerged regarding the timing of the airstrike. Some said that it took place on Friday night, while other information stated that it happened on Wednesday-Thursday overnight.
