REPORT: Russia says Iran, other powers should be part of Syria talks
Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that the Syrian leadership must establish contact with opposition forces that are ready for dialogue, adding that Bashar al-Assad was ready for this dialogue.

For his part, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Iran, Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates should be part of talks to solve the crisis in Syria, Russian news agencies reported.
 
Meanwhile, Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir said ahead of a meeting with his U.S., Russian and Turkish counterparts
That Russia's actions in Syria are fuelling the country's war, which can only be ended with an unconditional exit of President Bashar al-Assad.
