One person seriously injured in Ghajar after Israeli troops open fire

The state-run National News Agency reported on Wednesday that one person was seriously injured after gunshots were fired by Israeli troops in the occupied town of Ghajar at dawn.

The agency added that the Israeli soldiers shot at a person, who was attempting to hind behind a sand barrier in the Lebanese part of the town.

The victim has yet to be identified.

An Israeli infantry unit, backed by a number of vehicles arrived at the scene and transported the victim to a hospital in the occupied Palestinian territories.
