Hale from Bkerke: We can no longer accept empty promises
US Undersecretary for Political Affairs David Hale asserted on Friday that he discussed with Maronite Patriarch Bechara Rai the humanitarian aid and the current situation in Lebanon.
 
Hale’s comments were made after meeting with Rai, accompanied by US ambassador to Lebanon Dorothy Shea.
 
“We can no longer accept empty promises and the US is ready to support a government that makes a real change and responds to the needs of the Lebanese people,” he noted.
