Syrian Minister of Petroleum: Arab gas pipeline that passes through Syria is ready to use
Syrian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Bassam Tomeh stated on Tuesday that the Arab gas pipeline that passes through Syria is ready to use, pointing out that the matter depends now on the trade agreement between Lebanon and Egypt, until the signature of the trade agreement and the transit agreement are done with Syria since the gas pipeline passes through its territories.
In an interview with a Syrian channel, Tomeh drew attention to how the bigger the quantity of gas that passes through the pipeline, the more Syria will benefit. He then clarified that Syria does not depend on the amount of gas to make up its deficit.
