Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan considered on Tuesday that the collapse of the Lebanese state is dangerous, stressing that reforms should be expedited in order to avoid such a thing.

"If the Lebanese implement reforms, we will see what we can do," he said during an interview.

Bin Farhan also stressed that Saudi Arabia is interested in the return of the political process in Lebanon, pointing out that all parties should work on it, considering that the issue of Hezbollah is in the hands of the Lebanese.

He pointed out that Lebanon's elections may be a positive step, but it is too early to say that.

In another context, he revealed that Saudi Arabia has made some progress with Iran, considering however that it is still not enough."

He added that the hands of Saudi Arabia are extended to Iran, adding that Iran should build trust for future cooperation.
