Defense Minister al-Mawlawi meets Qatari Ministers of Interior and Defense

Caretaker Minister of Interior Bassam al-Mawlawi stressed on Tuesday during his meeting with Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani in Qatar, the importance of the ties linking Arab countries.

For his part, Minister Al Thani stressed that Qatar's relationship with Lebanon is “historic.”

"Lebanon is in our hearts, and standing by it is a duty," he added.

This as al-Mawlawi partook in the 14th edition of the International Exhibition of Homeland Security and Civil Defense "Milipol Qatar 2021", at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center.

On the sidelines, al-Mawlawi tackled with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Khalid bin Muhammad Al-Attiyah, files of common interest.
