EU foreign policy chief Borrell to visit Tehran today

The Iranian authorities announced on Friday that High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell will visit Tehran today, to discuss efforts aimed at reviving the 2015 nuclear agreement.

"European Union foreign policy chief Josep Borrell will visit Tehran on Friday evening to meet with Foreign Affairs Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian and other officials," Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said in a statement.
