Lapid: Israel and Lebanon have reached "historic" deal on maritime border

Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid announced on Tuesday that Israel and Lebanon have reached “a historic agreement" regarding their maritime border demarcation.

“This historic agreement will strengthen Israel's security, inject billions into Israel’s economy and ensure the stability of our northern borders,” Lapid indicated, noting that a meeting of the security cabinet will be held on Wednesday on the “concluded agreement” mediated by the United States.
