Argentina asks Qatar to arrest an Iranian official
Argentina asked On Tuesday Qatar to arrest an Iranian vice president who is currently visiting Doha.
Iranian Vice President for Economic Affairs Mohsen Rezaei is wanted by special prosecutors in Argentina on suspicion of being involved in the planning of the July 18, 1994 bombing of the "Israeli Mutual Center" (AMIA), which resulted in 85 fatalities and 300 injuries.

The special prosecutors submitted a petition to the Argentine Foreign Ministry, calling for the use of all diplomatic tools, while citing a red notice issued against Rezaei and extracts from newspapers talking about his visit to Qatar, according to the official Telam news agency.
