Australia says will no longer recognize West Jerusalem as Israel capital

Australia announced on Tuesday that it will no longer recognize West Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, reversing a controversial decision made by the previous conservative government.

Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong stressed that the status of the Holy City should be determined through peace talks between Israelis and Palestinians, and not through unilateral decisions.
