Zelenskiy visits Kherson after being recaptured from Russia

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy visited on Monday Kherson, the main city in the south of the country which was recaptured from Russia last week, a source in the Ukrainian president's office told AFP.

Russian forces withdrew from Kherson days ago after eight months of occupation, paving the way for Ukrainian soldiers to enter the city on Friday.
