UN official to visit Middle East on Tuesday to negotiate aid delivery to Gaza

The UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, Martin Griffiths, announced that he will travel to the Middle East on Tuesday to contribute to negotiations on delivering aid to the Gaza Strip.

In a video statement on Monday, he said, "We need a way to deliver aid... I will personally head to the region tomorrow to try and assist in the negotiations."
