Macron arrives in Cairo to meet his Egyptian counterpart

French President Emmanuel Macron arrived in Cairo on Wednesday, where he will discuss the conflict between Israel and Hamas with his Egyptian counterpart, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, according to a report from Agence France-Presse.

After making stops in Israel and Ramallah on Tuesday, the French President met with Jordan's King Abdullah II in Amman on Wednesday morning before heading to Cairo.
