Mahmoud Abbas says that America's veto makes it an accomplice in Israeli "war crimes"

President of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, stated that the United States' use of the veto against a resolution in the United Nations Security Council calling for a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza makes it a partner in what he described as war crimes against Palestinians.

In a statement released by the presidency, Abbas held the United States responsible for "the bloodshed of Palestinian children, women, and elders in the Gaza Strip."
