US says it is continuing efforts to present revised Gaza ceasefire proposal

U.S. State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said Monday that Washington is continuing its dialogue with regional partners, particularly Egypt and Qatar, to present a revised proposal for a ceasefire in Gaza.

He added that there is no specific timeline for introducing the proposal, which has been anticipated for several weeks.

Miller also stated that Washington is working to ensure the proposal will help both Israel and Hamas reach a final agreement.
