German Chancellor Scholz says Iran risks igniting entire region

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on Wednesday called on both Iran and the Lebanese group Hezbollah to immediately halt their attacks on Israel.

He warned that Iran risks igniting the entire region.

He added that Germany and its partners will continue efforts to mediate a ceasefire.
