Khamenei says negotiations with US will not solve Iran's problems

Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said Friday that negotiations with the United States would not solve the country's problems.

"We must understand this correctly; they should not pretend that if we sit down at the negotiating table with that government (the U.S. administration), problems will be solved," Khamenei said during a meeting with army commanders, adding that "no problem will be solved by negotiating with America."
