White House says Trump urges Sharaa to join Abraham Accords

A White House spokesperson said U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday called on Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa to sign the Abraham Accords with Israel, a day after the United States made a surprise announcement that it would lift all sanctions on the Islamist-led government.
