Four killed in central Damascus blast: Health ministry

An explosion in central Damascus on Thursday killed four people and wounded 11, the Syrian health ministry said, with the cause of the blast still unclear.

The head of emergency services in the health ministry, Ahmed al-Bakour, gave the toll in statements carried by the state news agency SANA, while an AFP correspondent saw an ambulance transporting victims after the explosion.
