Ingredients:
Bread, Tomatoes, Basil. Yes, its that simple!
Method:
Slice the bread diagonally with a bread knife to have more space to pour tomatoes on top.
Drizzle both sides of the bread with extra virgin olive oil.
Rub the oil on the bread and put it on top of a hot pan for almost 2 minutes each side.
By the time the bread is done put your tomatoes together. Cut tomatoes in quarters.
Once ready put them in a large bowl and add some fresh basil leaves. Dry basil will ruin the Bruschetta, so fresh is best!
Season the mixture with some salt and pepper and add some olive oil.
Get a serving plate and add tomatoes on the bread to have warm bread in the bottom and cool tomatoes on top.
Add a tiny drizzle of oil on the top.
If you have a barbeque or if your friends are coming around, they will be surprised!
This is the secret of Italian food; minimum effort, maximum satisfaction!!
