Meteorite lands on pillow of woman in Ontario
In a very unusual way to wake up, woman from British Columbia awakens to a meteorite that landed on her pillow.
Ruth Hamilton woke up to the barking sound of her dog. She turned on the lights only to see that something had burnt a hole in her ceiling. 

Ruth revealed that she found a “melon-sized” meteorite behind her pillow, only a few centimeters away from her head.
It was later confirmed by Experts at Western University in London, Ontario, that the rock was in fact a meteorite. The type of the meteorite, however, is yet to be determined. 

Reflecting on her the experience, Hamilton said that the incident made her see life from a new standpoint: "The only other thing I can think of saying is life is precious and it could be gone at any moment even when you think you are safe and secure in your bed," she noted. "I hope I never ever take it for granted again."
