REPORT: Twenty Lebanese nationals deported from Qatar

Reports emerged stating that twenty Lebanese nationals were deported from Qatar, noting that a number of them have arrived to Beirut, while the rest is expected to arrive by the end to the week.

Eleven out of the twenty nationals are Shiite, seven Sunnis and two Druze, all of whom work at a trading and contracting company.

Accordingly, the media office of caretaker Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour denied these reports, stressing that the Gulf States are aware that the Lebanese nationals who have been living and working there have strongly contributed to these states’ development and progress.

This report will examine the details of the deportation process and the reaction of the Lebanese nationals who are in Qatar as well as the measures they took in this regard.
