REPORT: Taalabaya residents call for changing path of high voltage power line

A high voltage power line was installed over the Al-Reef neighborhood in the central Bekaa town of Taalabaya causing material damages on local sites including that of the local cemetery and also endangering the lives of citizens.

In this regard, residents of Taalabaya called on officials at the Electricite Du Liban (EDL) to change the path of this power line in order to decrease dangers currently present.

This report will shed light on the path of the high voltage power line in Taalabaya as well as the stance of residents in this regard.
