REPORT: Increasing number of refugees results in economic burdens

The number of registered Syrian refugees at the United Nations’ High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has been on a continuous hike since the beginning of the Syrian crisis.

More than 630 thousand refugees are in severe need of care, and are no longer capable of ensuring food, housing, or medical assistance. This as Lebanese families also struggle to withstand tough economic times.

This report will shed light on the situation of Syrian refugees in Lebanon as well as the economic burden that resulted from their presence.
