REPORT: Tunisian women heading to Syria for “sexual jihad”
 
Tunisia’s Interior Minister Lotfi ben Jeddou told deputies on Thursday at the National Constituent Assembly that Tunisian women continue to flock to Syria to wage “sexual jihad”, performing intercourse with dozens of Islamist fighters and returning home pregnant.       

Ben Jeddo did not elaborate on how many Tunisian women had already returned to the country pregnant with the children of jihadist fighters, but said that the women are being swapped amongst dozens of rebels and are coming home with child in the name of sexual jihad.                

This report will shed light on the phenomenon of “sexual jihad” in light of the escalating Syrian crisis.
