REPORT: Syrian official accuses The Guardian of distorting his statement, the daily replies

Syrian Deputy Prime Minister Qadri Jamil denied what the British Daily “The Guardian” has quoted him as saying that the Syrian government will call for a ceasefire during the Geneva II Conference.

Accordingly, the newspaper replied by posting an audio recording of Jamil’s statement.
