REPORT: Residents of Alma, Zgharta cut-off road to protest illegal construction works

Residents of Alma town in Zgharta cut-off on Sunday the road to protest the illegal constructions in the outskirts of their town; however, Lebanese Armed Forces soldiers reopened the road shortly after.

In the same context, Alma’s Mayor Elie Obeid told LBCI that residents of the town are seeking a final solution for the dossier of illegal construction works, adding that this issue does not have any religious background, but is related to the rights of the citizens.
