REPORT: Lebanese women demonstrate after authorities grant 112 foreigners the Lebanese citizenship

Women’s Right to Nationality Campaign held a demonstration on Sunday since authorities issued a presidential decree giving the Lebanese citizenship to 112 foreigners and are still refusing to sign a decree that grants Lebanese women the right of passing their nationality to their children.

This report will shed light on the demonstration that was expected to be held outside the ministry of Interior, but was held at another location seemingly since security forces did not allow demonstrators to gather outside the ministry.
